Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Twelfth House (the app and twelfthhouse.app, together the "Service") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. You can use the app anonymously; an anonymous account identifier is created on your device. If you sign in, we store the email address you provide.
- Birth details. Birth date, time, and place that you enter, used to compute your charts.
- Conversations and readings. Messages you send to the astrologer and the readings generated for you, including facts you choose to share so she can remember them.
- Photos. If you use palm or aura readings, the photo you submit is sent to our AI provider to generate the reading. Photos are processed for the reading and are not used to train models by us.
- Purchase status. Subscription entitlement status via RevenueCat. We never see your full payment details — billing is handled by Apple or Google.
- Usage analytics. App events (such as screens viewed and onboarding steps) via PostHog, used to understand and improve the product.
2. How we use information
- To compute your charts and generate your readings — including sending relevant chart context and your messages to our AI model provider (OpenRouter) to produce responses.
- To remember context you share so readings stay personal.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- To understand product usage and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your conversations or photos for advertising.
3. Service providers
We share data only with processors needed to run the Service: our hosting providers, OpenRouter (AI model routing), RevenueCat (subscription management), and PostHog (analytics). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
4. Data retention and deletion
Your charts, conversations, and readings are retained while your account is active so the astrologer can remember you. You can delete your account and its data in the app, or by emailing support@twelfthhouse.app from the address associated with your account. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the address below to exercise them. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we design the Service so that each account can only access its own data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this page, with the effective date updated above.
