Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Twelfth House mobile application and the twelfthhouse.app website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What Twelfth House is — and isn't
Twelfth House provides astrology readings, birth-chart calculations, and related content generated with the help of artificial intelligence. The Service is provided for reflection and entertainment purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice of any kind, and you should not rely on it to make decisions in those areas. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.
2. Your account
You may use parts of the Service anonymously. If you create an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your device secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
3. Subscriptions and payments
- Some features require a paid subscription ("Twelfth House Pro"). Prices are shown in the app before purchase and are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
4. Your content
You may submit information to the Service, such as your birth details, chat messages, and photos (for example, palm or portrait photos used for readings). You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Service to you. See our Privacy Policy for how content is handled.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' data, reverse-engineering the app, using the Service to generate unlawful or harmful content, or interfering with its operation.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that readings will be accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in the app or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or on this page by updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
